If there's one thing Ottawa is renowned for, its green space. This city is an outdoor lover's paradise, and during the summer, you'll see trails and parks brimming with families and people taking advantage of the warm weather. It's a very pedestrian and bike-friendly city too with lots of different paths to explore. Take a soothing stroll through any of the picturesque wooded trails. Go for a leisurely paddle or try white water rafting through the Rideau River. If you want to lounge in the sun and work on your tan, there are lakeside beaches for you to relax and chill out.
